Part 01: Freedom at Last?Freshly released from the cage he had been held in for months, Kurai demanded to see Death and be explained to as per why he was being released. He is then given an apartment key by Sid on the way out from the academy the second time, an evaluation to be held in a few days since he wishes to remain a kishin (not a pure-blood). During the few days he has nightmares, explaining this to Death after asking to talk to him privately in teh Death Room upon being examined. After light discussion, Death and Kurai come to a common agreement about having a light test after he retrieves his first soul; if he can keep his own soul stable after consuming it, he can hunt souls; if not, any souls he hunts will be reported to DWMA.
